MNP2013 comes to an end

The 2013 Multinational Fellows have now finished their time in the US and are heading home. The central Eisenhower website has information about the Annual Meeting Day, including the distinguished Alumnus Award. The website also has news about the Spanish Alumni organisation’s freedom of thought award and Juan Jose G├╝emes (Spain, MNP 11) talking at Harvard about start-ups.

Vishal Talreja (India, MNP13) stopped in London for a few days on his way home and met Antonia Mochan (EU, MNP 08) while there.

US fellow to visit Belgium and EU

2012 USA Fellow Carol Hibbard, Director for Procurement Financial Analysis at Boeing, will be visiting Belgium in May. During her fellowship she will be looking at issues around women in leadership. We’re sure that the Belgium and EU fellows will give her an excellent welcome.

Belgium/EU Fellows announce their event for Eisenhower Day of Fellowship

To mark the Eisenhower Day of Fellowship, the Belgium/EU Association has today announced a special gathering on 15 October 2011 to watch the play “A Louer” at the KVS, the Royal Flemish Theatre, run by Jan Goossens (MNP 2009, Belgium). The play follows a number of tenants within an apartment building. The show will be followed by a reception for Fellows and their guests. Any other fellows who will be in Brussels on 15 October are encouraged to contact the Belgium/EU fellows via the contact form page to register their interest.

Belgian Fellow appointed to new post

Michael Voordeckers (MNP 2010, Belgium) has been appointed by Hill & Knowlton International Belgium as Associate Director on the EU Public Affairs team.

Mapping your Fellowship

Antonia Mochan (MNP 2008, EU) has put together a Google Map of her fellowship, showing where she went when. Has anyone else done something like this? We’d love to show it if you have. Contact us if you’d like help to put one together.

Belgium/EU almuni kick off the new year

The Belgium/EU association of Eisenhower Fellows started the New Year well, by meeting in the Commission’s Berlaymont HQ. They heard from Valere Moutarlier about the Philadelphia conference, and his discussions with other alumni. They agreed to hold an event in Brussels on EF Day 2011 and also to improve communications with EF alumni across Europe, resulting in this website!
